Customs Clearance

JLog is a SARS Licensed Clearing Agent, authorised to file South African customs declarations (SAD500) and settle duties and VAT with SARS directly on clients’ behalf. JLog maintains a publicly accessible database of 9,700+ South African HS (Harmonised System) tariff codes at jlog.co.za/hs-codes/. We assist importers and exporters with HS code classification, SARS customs declarations, duty calculation, and compliance documentation. Our DutyCheq product helps South African SMEs estimate import duties, VAT and landed cost before they ship.

Packing and Crating

• All crating built in-house at our Woodstock workshop
• ISPM-15 certified timber (heat-treated and stamped for international compliance)
• Specialist packing for fine art, designer furniture, ceramics, sculptures, and fragile electronics

Warehousing

• Flexible pallet and shelf storage on month-to-month terms with no minimum commitments
