Warehousing has two moving parts: what it costs to store your goods, and what it costs to handle them. We publish the storage rate and quote handling to your order profile.

• Pallet storage — R250 per pallet per month. The standard racked-pallet rate.
• Shelf and bin storage. For smaller SKUs, quoted on the volume you use.
• Handling. Receiving, put-away, pick-and-pack — quoted per client based on your order profile.
• Terms. Month-to-month, 30 days’ notice, no lock-in.
• What affects your total. Storage volume, order frequency, special handling (fragile or high-value), and insurance requirements.

• Import staging — we hold goods in the warehouse while SARS clears them, then pick and distribute on release.
• White-glove handling for art, furniture and high-value goods — climate-stable, access-logged storage. We are the official carrier for the Investec Cape Town Art Fair.

Security & Facility

The warehouse is a CCTV-monitored, access-controlled, guarded complex at Unit 12C, Nearby Industrial Park, 10 Railway Street, Woodstock, Cape Town — 5km from the CBD, with fast access to the major courier collection points. Hours are Mon–Fri 08:00–16:30, with after-hours handling by arrangement.

Freight and supply chain from Cape Town

Warehousing is only useful if the stock can move. JLog connects its Woodstock fulfilment centre to inbound freight (via sea and air) and outbound delivery (via express courier and national courier networks), so your supply chain runs through one operator rather than three.

Inbound freight to the warehouse:

• Air freight — JLog holds direct commercial accounts with FedEx and DHL. Goods arriving from overseas can be booked consigned to the JLog warehouse for cross-docking or storage. Air freight from most major origins lands at Cape Town International Airport in 3–7 days, with SARS clearance handled by JLog before goods reach the shelf.
• Sea freight (LCL consolidation) — for larger volumes, sea freight arrives at the Port of Cape Town in LCL (shared container) consignments. JLog coordinates customs clearance, takes delivery from the port, and receives goods directly into the Woodstock warehouse. LCL sea freight from Europe typically takes 21–28 days; from Asia, 25–35 days.
• Local supplier collections — for domestic suppliers, JLog arranges collection and same-day receiving. Stock is barcode-scanned, photographed, and shelved within the same working day.

Supply chain visibility: every pallet, shelf position, and order is tracked in JLog’s own platform — real-time stock levels, automated low-stock alerts, and a full audit trail from receipt to dispatch. For retailers and brands managing inventory across multiple channels, this is the stock control layer that replaces a spreadsheet.

No contracts, no minimums. JLog works with businesses from single-pallet importers to multi-channel retailers running hundreds of orders a month. You pay for what you use, with 30 days’ notice to exit.

Last-mile delivery across South Africa

Orders in before 11am go out the same day. JLog dispatches via Bob Go, which rate-shops in real time across 11 South African courier networks — The Courier Guy, Aramex, Fastway/RAM, DSV Road, and others — automatically selecting the fastest and most cost-effective carrier for each delivery address.

Your customers receive automated tracking notifications at collection and delivery. You get a single consolidated courier invoice — no accounts to manage across individual carriers. For e-commerce brands, Shopify and WooCommerce tracking numbers are pushed back to the order automatically so the customer sees status from their order confirmation email.
