JLog runs a 1,200 m² warehouse in Woodstock, Cape Town, about 10 minutes’ drive from the Cape Town Container Terminal. We store pallets and shelf stock, pick and pack e-commerce orders, and distribute across the Cape Town metro and South Africa.
Storage starts from R200 per pallet per month, orders placed before 11:00 dispatch the same day, and there is no contract — month-to-month with 30 days’ notice. Founded in 2019, 1,000+ consignments handled, rated 4.8★ on Google.

The JLog warehouse — what’s here
JLog’s warehouse is at Unit 12C, Nearby Industrial Park, 10 Railway Street, Woodstock, Cape Town — 5km from the CBD, 8km from Cape Town Container Terminal, and about 15 minutes from Cape Town International Airport.
- Racked pallet storage — Heavy-duty adjustable racking for palletised goods. Every pallet gets a unique racking location and barcode. Forklift access for container off-loads and outbound pallet movements.
- Shelf storage — Shelving bays for small and medium SKUs — fashion, homeware, beauty, supplements, books, accessories. Each item is assigned a pick location in the warehouse management system.
- Dedicated receiving dock — Container off-loading capability. Every inbound shipment is inspected and counted by SKU and quantity on arrival. You receive the goods-in report by email, and fulfilment clients see it at my.jlog.co.za.
- Pick-and-pack station — Dedicated benches for e-commerce order fulfilment. Packaging materials on-site — boxes, tissue, tape, labels. Branded packaging stored and used at no extra cost.
- Security — 24/7 CCTV, an alarmed building and access-controlled entry. Only JLog staff handle your stock.
- Climate — Ambient temperature-controlled. Suitable for fashion, cosmetics, supplements, homeware, and most consumer goods. Not a cold-chain facility.
- Hours — Monday to Friday 08:00–16:30. Saturday by arrangement.
Who stores with JLog
- E-commerce brands — Shopify and WooCommerce stores that have outgrown home or office packing. Connect your store, send your stock, and orders dispatch same-day without you touching anything.
- Importers between customs and delivery — Goods cleared at Cape Town port that need temporary storage before final delivery or distribution. JLog is 8km from the container terminal — inbound container off-loads flow straight into receiving without inland transit delays.
- Seasonal businesses — Holiday stock, fashion-season inventory, event-specific goods. Store for the months you need, exit with 30 days’ notice when the season ends.
- Businesses between premises — Relocating, renovating, or between leases. Short-term storage on a month-to-month basis with no minimum storage period.
- Overflow stock — Brands with their own warehouse that have overflow during peak periods. Use JLog as a flexible top-up facility without committing to extra floor space.
- Artwork and gallery stock — High-value, fragile items stored in our climate-ambient, CCTV-monitored facility. JLog is the official carrier for the Investec Cape Town Art Fair.
Warehousing rates — no contracts, no minimums
Storage steps down automatically as your stored volume grows. No renegotiation required — the lower rate applies automatically when you cross each threshold.

Handling (VAT inclusive):
- Pick and pack: R15 per order (first item) + R5 per extra item
- Intake: R20 per box, R2 per item, or from R150 per pallet
- Container devanning: R3,500 (20ft), R5,500 (40ft)
- Courier: charged at cost plus a 10% handling fee
- E-commerce service fee by monthly orders: 0–50 R2,000 · 51–100 R3,500 · 101–200 R4,500 · 201–500 R5,500 · 500+ on request
Worked examples (VAT inclusive):
- Storage only: 12 pallets for one month = 12 × R250 = R3,000.
- E-commerce brand, 300 single-item orders a month, 10 pallets: service fee R5,500 + pick and pack 300 × R15 = R4,500 + storage 10 × R250 = R2,500 → R12,500 a month, plus courier at cost + 10%.
Real-time inventory visibility
Every item stored with JLog is tracked in our warehouse management system (WMS); fulfilment clients see live stock and order status at my.jlog.co.za.

Shopify and WooCommerce integration — Inventory levels sync bidirectionally between your store and JLog’s WMS. When an order is picked, your store’s stock count decrements automatically. No manual updates, no overselling.
Stock counts — Full physical counts available on request. Access to your stock during warehouse hours for self-counting or inspection.
Why Woodstock is the right location
Cape Town brands benefit from Woodstock’s central position in the metro’s logistics network.
- Same-day Cape Town delivery — Stock in Woodstock means Cape Town metro customers can receive orders the same day for orders placed before 11:00. Offer “order by 11am for same-day delivery” and actually deliver it.
- Port proximity — 8km from Cape Town Container Terminal. Container off-loads from sea freight arrive at JLog without inland transit delays. Customs clearance, off-loading, and goods-in happen fast.
- Airport access — About 15 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. FedEx and DHL express parcels leave and arrive with minimal transit time to the warehouse.
- Western Cape core market — If most of your customers are in Cape Town and the greater Western Cape, stock in Woodstock means lower last-mile courier costs and faster delivery than a Johannesburg-based 3PL.
Distribution from Woodstock
Stock stored with JLog can go out the same day. Parcels go through 11 South African couriers on one account, so each order uses the best rate and speed for its destination. Pallets and bulky loads for Cape Town customers, retailers and building sites go on a dedicated trip in a JLog vehicle with our driver. Imports can come straight from the port: JLog clears them through SARS customs, off-loads the container and puts the stock away, so the whole chain from ship to shelf is one job.
