How the WooCommerce Integration Works

JLog connects to your WooCommerce store via the WooCommerce REST API. Here’s the flow:

1. Customer places an order on your WooCommerce store. Payment is processed, order is confirmed, everything looks normal from the customer’s perspective.
2. JLog automatically pulls the order via REST API. New orders are fetched every few minutes. No webhooks, no CSV exports, no manual copy-paste.
3. Order appears in the JLog WMS. Pick list is generated and sent to the warehouse team.
4. Order is picked, packed, and labelled. Your stock is taken from the warehouse, checked, and packed using your specifications (standard packing or your branded materials).
5. Parcel is despatched the same day. Orders placed before 11:00 AM are booked for same-day despatch. JLog automatically rate-shops across 11 SA couriers to find the best price.
6. Tracking number is written back to WooCommerce. Order status updates automatically in your WooCommerce dashboard. Tracking link is sent to the customer via your WooCommerce notification system. Your customer receives their despatch email automatically.

Result: Fully automated from WooCommerce order to customer delivery. You never touch the fulfilment process.

Variable Products (Sizes, Colours, Styles)

Each variant is tracked as a separate SKU in the JLog WMS. When a customer orders a size Small, colour Blue, that exact variant is picked. Inventory is accurate down to the variant level.

Bundled Products

Orders containing multiple products or bundles are handled correctly. The pick list shows all items in the bundle, so the warehouse team can grab everything in one pass.

Backorder Management

If an order contains an item that’s out of stock, the order is flagged in the JLog WMS and you’re notified. You decide whether to wait for restock or process a partial order.

Custom Order Statuses

WooCommerce order statuses (Processing → Fulfilled → Shipped) are updated in real time as the order moves through the warehouse. Your WooCommerce dashboard always reflects the true status.

Multiple Shipping Zones

If your WooCommerce store defines different shipping zones (local Cape Town, South Africa, international), JLog respects those zones and rate-shops the appropriate carrier for each destination.

Payment Gateway Integration

JLog doesn’t touch your payment flow. Stripe, PayFast, EFT, COD — all work as-is. We pull completed orders from WooCommerce after payment is confirmed.
